The Grassroots Cafe and Food Market

In August 2013 Strabane Community Project opened the North West's first Foodbank, supported by the Trussell Trust.

It has now developed into the Social Supermarket, where our clients not only receive support for food but also can avail our wrap-around services such as education, training, cooking, and budgeting to name a few.

Along with the Food Market we have a cafe that is open to the public where you can come and enjoy a warm drink and a light bite to eat.

We also provide room hire for anyone who needs a space for meetings/remote working.
