Strabane Community Project was first established in 1987 by a group of local volunteers and members of the local parish. Its original aim was to provide local people, mainly the elderly, with a place to meet up for dinner and socialise with others.
Since then our charity has grown, and now provides a variety of services for the wider community.
We work alongside other organisations to offer services such as befriending, educational programs, food and heating support, and employment support, tailored to meet the diverse needs of our community members. At Strabane Community Project, we believe that by offering these services, we can empower individuals and build a stronger and more inclusive community.
